This is a piece of pre-production concept art for Raven Harbor’s illustrated book, Abiogenesis. This character’s name is Cerisphipides, she is a half-spider humanoid creature that is a guiding force for lost souls that happen upon her world. She is the absolute mother, the born star of follicle strands – her hair was eternal in length and breadth, and consumed all things to form her dimension of curtained light. She is the Iron Siren, the one who bore courage enough to tear through molten metal to embrace her lover, her features melted and fearless. After her wounds healed, she became a monstrous and jeweled matron of shunned souls.

An Introduction: J. Togail
“It is the creative who are closest to God, for only they share the burden of creation.”
My name is Justin Togail.
Art is my existence – through my art I can measure my growth as a being, not only to improve, but to see the world in a way that only artists can. My art is my message sent planet-wide, and that message can be interpreted in a myriad number of ways.
My conviction lies within a deeply personal appeal to my own aesthetic; I love what I do, and sharing that love with the world is the most sensible course to take. I love to draw the spirits and creatures that inhabit my deepest and most secret mental recesses, to find that primal, that most evil, that most benevolent voice; the one that speaks to me and wishes to manifest itself through the void.
Welcome to me, welcome to my home.
